Swiftech Apogee HD CPU Waterblock

Hey all

Have a question for you all

I've always been with amd but now I'm ready for an upgrade and I'm thinking off changing over to an Intel skylake cpu on socket 1151

Now a friend give me a brand new Swiftech Apogee HD CPU Waterblock some time ago and I think it is for socket 1150 will this water block fit an Intel skylake CPU on socket 1151 because if it does it will save me abit of cash or will I need to buy another water block
Or maybe a new back plate ?

Im pretty sure that 1150 and 1151 use the same mounting mechanic.

1150 and 1151 have the same hole spacing, so any 1150 cooler will fit an 1151 board.

For some reason Intel has made a correct decision (shock, horror) and stuck with the same spacing for the mounting holes on sockets 1156/1155/1150/1151 to make life easier for us. Unusual for Intel I know, but I am not complaining.
