As title, are the swiftech cpu blocks a decent block at all? Been offered one for much cheapness and considering it but dont have a scooby about them

Yeah but most of them go into temps etc and there doesnt seem to be that much dif temp ways. Likewise the ek supreme gets decent enough reviews however they both appear to be older items as opposed to the supremacy etc. Would rather spend the extra for newer models if its worth it

I think you've answered your own question in that case, unless you want a newer model for the sake of it

Thats what im askin is there much dif between the older models and newer stuff. I know newer modelsmclaim to have faster flow rates etc etc but in real word use does it make much of a dif

Not massively, unless the rest of your loop is particularly restrictive.

How much is he asking for it?

He wants a tenner for it. It would be the only used part in the whole loop thats why I wasnt sure about it

I'd say go for it if it's clearly in good nick. At that price, it's a no brainer

Cheers I dont know anythin about it and was worried in case I filled it up and didnt perform too well. Everythin else is made by ek so originally was going to getnthe supremacy until today

The block is fine but being an obsolete model, you may not be able to fit it to your motherboard. Check the fitting will work. If not, it's no use to you.
