Hi i have the H20-220 compact which is a great kit but if i need to move to Corei7 i will need a CPU block.

I love the res/rad combo so i will keep that, i would also need a pump, and cpu block... what else would i need?

The res/rad barbs use a different size tube than the new blocks dont they?
 
i undersdtand lga775 and lga1366 will be completely different sizes. but will AM2/+ and AM3 be different sizes?

Because if there not then ill still be able to use the same cooler when i go AM3
 
AM2 and AM2 + are different sizes you have to get a different mobo but if you have a AM2+ mobo it's backwards compatible. Not sure about the Am3 im sure it will be probably different though.
