I bought a Swiftech H20-120 Premium Watercooling Kit and I installed it the other day. I went for this kit because i like the tidy pump/res assembly and I dont have space for a 120.2 Rad without cutting up my nice new case. I installed the rad below my CD drive bays on the front of my case and the bay res just above it. I have bled the system and i am 100% confident i have all the air out but I am still hearing the water in the res. This is doing my nut I am thinking of seperating the MCP350 pump from the res and buying a different bay res. Has anyone else had this any problems with this res or can anyone offer any advice?
thanks
Scott

Have you got the res filled up with enough water ? You know, so that the water can't splosh about.

Rob

I have necked it Rob but the way the res is made the filler is acually lower than the top of the res. The plug is recessed

well i cant tip it as it will spill out all over the place it really is that full. I am currently adding about 5ml every few minutes then letting it dissapear from the neck so its going somewhere

Can't hear mine :p

If it's really upsetting you try putting some sponge in through the filler cap and pushing it towards the reservoir inlet (NOT THE PUMP INLET!!!). This will slow down the water as it enters the res and stop the noise.

The res inlet and the pump outlet are very close together so im a little reluctant to do the sponge trick but thanks anyway. I have kept filling it very slowly and the noise is about 90% gone. I will report back again soon
