2 things really, Im taking out my AMD kit and replacing it with C2D E6600 etc this weekend. I dont have any spare tubing so I was wondering whether its possible simply to remove the clip on the pump inlet barb and pull off the tubing without cutting it.

Secondly, why is it so difficult to get hold of Swiftech 7/16 ID tubing anywhere?

Yes.

7/16" tubing is a lot easier to find than it use to be. You just have to know where to look. ;) Failing that 1/2" tubing will work.

I know it sounds daft but I think I've been spoilt by the Swiftech tubing. The masterkleer stuff I bought as spare I actually threw away it felt like such carp.....I now wish I hadn't :(

i've just realised....there is no need to drain the system at all! just remove the the cpu block intact and replace the specific 775 fittings.
