Swimming with sharks?

Yet another item on the list of things I'd love to do when time/money/commitments permit.

Ive scuba dived with sharks but would never ever swim with them. On the surface is the last place i would want to be if there is any around!

Swam with grey nurse sharks off the coast of Perth WA.

I don't agree with cage diving for Great Whites, I think chumming the water around humans isn't the brightest idea.

Every time i find sharks when diving they bugger off. These were white tip reef sharks and they didn't seem to like humans (probably the bubbles). Same with turtles and me.

My wife did, 3 weeks ago in the Cook Islands during a dive. She was more interested in the other fish though.

WHy do you ask?
I'd like to do it sometime in the next year but I'm not sure where to start. I'm just after any location suggestions or perhaps companies that offer this as part of a package holiday.
Plenty of times, though not by choice ;)
Are you referring to shark cage diving?
Caged or uncaged. I've never done any diving before, if that makes a difference.

Thats amazing,How does he do that! :)

Actually it's a woman, Cristina Zenatto. Bloomin' amazing mind and I guess it is a natural response. That or just a womans touch. Reminds me of an episode of The Wildboys, where they went night swimming and lifted sleeping Alligators off the waterbed.

Sharks are fairly ubiquitous, I would imagine you have a good chance of swimming with sharks in most of the places around the world that are good for diving.

I have swam with sharks in Belize and Honduras.

When you see it...
I would drown in my own **** with fear if I was that gentleman filming! Great White sharks generally attack from beneath and hit their prey with unimaginable G-forces. Just imagine over two tons of Fishfinger smashing into the underside of that kayak, it would be flipped like a toy!
