I saw this yesterday it looks pretty cool

but you'll need a big container for a PC, unless you dip it one panel at a time, they use Humbrol model paint

I've done this on a old guitar pedal and the results were pretty good. I think you would want to do the entire case in one go in order to get a constant swirl when you put the panels together. Id be interested to see someone have a go but wouldn't want it on my machine.

you'd need a very big container to drown the PC, plus it would need to be a very subtle and muted paint job...because a bold colourful pattern would look very strange on a PC

it might be best to just spray the whole case in custom ``Candy`` or ``metalflake`` etc..

Most guys who do the guitars use a kids paddling pool of some sort, should be big enough for most cases.

As for colors you could probably do a white and grey swirl that would be fairly subtle, no need to go with high contrast colors. You can also vary the intensity of the effect by swirling the paint more or less.

Lol thanks OP marbling brings back memories of being a little kid and doing this to stuff at school :)

Would love to see this on a pc nothing to garish but I think it'd look good.

Well the Phanteks is stripped down ready for painting, it comes apart real easy, but i'm going to spray it instead....probably a Dark Candy with metalflake over.

either from here or from Ebay

i'm going to make another upper cage for it out of 2mm Styrene sheet, the Phanteks looks quite good stripped down..the side panel needs modding too, that Acrylic window is really naff

choosing the base colour will be tricky.

that looks really nice, i'm guessing it goes over a black base.......
