Switch and a keyboard

Does anyone know how you attach a switch to a keyboard? Do I need a usb c? Or an adapter? My son is keen to do this thanks

If its the docked switch, just plug a USB keyboard into the Dock. Bluetooth dongle may work as well.

Usb C is for plugging in a keyboard when the switch is portable. What do you mean by not working? The keyboards are only used to input txt instead of using the switch system. If you mean games you will probably have to buy something to make it work because I doubt switch games have native keyboard/mouse support without some adapter. Which is probably borderline cheating anyway.
