Hello,

I’ve got two outputs connected to my ATI 4250 graphics (on-board 880G), I know I can’t output HDMI and DVI at the same time, but is there a short cut to switch between the two?
The last thing I had connected was the HDMI, this morning I’d like the output to be the DVI but the HDTV is indicating ‘mode not supported’, I don’t want the HDMI output on at the moment (It’s a projector). I’ve tried the VGA, but it doesn’t support 1080p

Any help appreciated

Have you tried this?:
1. Connect ONLY vga and shut down.
2. Then with the vga still conected, connect the dvi then start.
3. Wait till OS has finished boot up, then right click, screen resolution, detect displays

Thanks for the suggestion

I've set up a profile and can switch between the VGA and the HDMI output without problem, the problem is i can't switch between the HDMI (Projector) and the DVI (HDTV). If the Projector and HDTV are both on the PC detects one and then the other every 5 seconds or so, but will not detect both...very strange.

the VGA and DVI are both going to the same HDTV.

Think I might get a ATI 5450 (I'll need the 7.1 eventually), anyone use one? (reviews seem good)
