Switch/Hub?

My setup is as follows:

Router -> Ethernet cable -> Powerline adaptor ------------- (to other side of house) -> Powerline Adaptor -> Ethernet Cable -> PC.

This works great, but I have to unplug the cable from my PC and plug it into my Xbox every time I want to play online. What I need is something like a switch/hub that I can plug into the powerline adaptor, so that I can have both the PC and the Xbox online at the same time. Or do I need another router? I just basically need to create 2 Ethernet ports from the 1 available to me.

Ideas anyone? I know this is a nooby question, but I've googled and have been going round in circles for the last day or so.

Cheers!

You will need a switch. They are better than hubs for numerous reasons. I'd say just go for a little netgear switch which can be purchased for pennies from this site. :)

You just need a simple 5 port switch. Switches are cheap enough to make it worth not bothering with a hub. Something like the 5 port Netgear that OcUK sells would do the job.

Oh and you'll need a couple of extra straight through ethernet cables if you haven't got any already so that you can plug everything in.
