Switch Iphone from pc to mac

so tomorrow i'll be switching to a MBP. However, I have an iphone 3g, and was wondering what will happen when I plug it into the MBP?

I'm not worried about losing songs (as all my music is backed up to external drives), more about losing contacts/sms/appointments etc.

iPhone can only be accociated with one iTunes library at a time, so you will lose all your song/movies, games etc.

Contacts should still be there, however. Your can sync yor contacts with your old computer just in case.

Move your entire itunes folder from the PC to the mac prior to plugging your phone in, it should carry on as it left off.

(it did this when I went Mac --> PC, so I'm assuming it works fine the other way around too).
