Well the after will come later & I am so looking forward to it, hoping sky fibre is be better than what I have now as I have heard some horror stories on connection day.

The after will come later when it gets enabled ;)

Hope it all goes well for you mate!

I live in London and I joined BT a year ago and I was told by the end of 2014 my area would have Fibre and it still isn't here. I've given my notice and got a whopping deal with Virgin Media for a 100mbit line, I can't wait!

Judging by the speed test you've posted you might only get the lower end of FTTC. Like me I am too far away from the cab.

I get 11ms ping, 38mb down and 8mb up. Torrents do hit higher.

I was on the 80/20 but blagged it got a refund and dropped to the basic but unlimited.

Just hope your not paying for something you might not get.

Really depends on distance to cab he might have bad speeds because he is miles from the exchange but a cab 10 meters away.

was quoted 43 down 15up but I went for the lower package so was told I will get the max. My current router stats are better than the speed test though, 6.5mb down 1.1mb up with a 42db line attenuation.

I am about 400mtrs away from the cabinet and as the line is also via the pole its about the same distance as it follows the road.

When it's silly oclock get some rope up there and rip it down, or them long sheers for cutting trees and cut the cable. New cable see better result
