I am currently on plusnet FTTC and am getting 44 Mbps down / 12Mbps up and have been quite happy with it. I have got fibreheroes in my area and can get FTTP, however there are a couple of things I am pondering. I still have a home phone line and need this in case of various peoiple needing to get in touch, this will rule out some ISPs that I can use with fibre heroes.
I also use my plusnet email as my primary email which will need to change if I move from them. Who do you use for you email? There is only my wife and I so we don't need many mailboxes.
At present I also have a static IP with PN, if I move off I may lose this, and I don't think I want to go to a provider that uses CGNAT from what I have read so should I move or renew my PN contract? (Contract is up 12 July, I can renew for 25.99/month)

Thanks all!

Take the opportunity to buy yourself a domain with catch-all forwarding (I use Fasthosts) and set it to forward to your ISP email (or GMail or...)

This!

Using ISP provided email addresses is pretty dumb for this reason nowadays, so also use it as an opportunity to start changing email.
