Switch - Which Pokemon game? I am so out of the loop...

So after recently purchasing a Blastoise Pokemon rug...

I am now pondering grabbing a Switch Lite and having a play at the new Pokemon games.

There seems to now be SO many different generations/types...I am aware there are 2 new ones (Diamond and Pearl) coming out soon, shall I wait for them?

Wait for the remakes, the new games are aimed at 5 year olds in terms of difficulty and mechanics.

Pokemon let's Go pikachu/evee are worth playing.

Sword and Shield are dire, the upcoming remakes for switch are remakes of diamond and pearl due November 19th.

Ah I just saw Sword and Shield...not a fan of the graphics at all.

Let's Go seems like a good option as you said.

We'll likely get more information on the diamond and pearl remakes near the start of June just before their e3 presentation. There's also Pokemon legends thats releasing end of January next year.

I reckon the diamond and pearl remakes are going to be dumbed down just like let’s go. I had forgotten that the old games were actually challenging when I went back to Pokémon black.

All the modern ones are easy, there is no challenge to them.

That’s such a shame, I played let’s go as my first switch game and assumed it was easy to get people ready for sword and shield. Was hoping sword would be a little harder

Nope it's easier and not as good, if you want a challenge of some sort whilst not pokemon it's as close as play temtem
