I am going to be running 2 systems off a Sony 21" CRT which has 2 vga inputs. I want to use a single wireless keyboard/mouse which has a usb receiver to control both pc's. Are their any switch boxes or adaptors out there which would let me plug the keyboard/mouse into both pc's ? So far I have only seen boxes which also have inputs for the video.

i suppose you could but im sure the pc has to have the keyboard ppreasent at boot to enable it to function in windows so the only way you would be able to do that is set keyboard/mouse to system 1 boot system 1/set to system 2 then boot system 2.
if you cant find one make one if its usb it shouldnt be to hard

If you cannot find anything suitable then just buy a KVM switch, theyre quite cheap nowadays.
