I'm considering replacing the switches in my tecware phantom, they are outemu browns. I believe Akko switches will fit?

And I'd need ones that are clear body for the LED to shine through into the keycap lettering? I do have gateron sampler keyset so that gives and idea in differences, although the gaterons won't fit.

I would like a switch that doesn't have as much switch wobble as the outemus

Any recommendation from the Akko line? Apparently has to be 3 pin versions, so I'm quite limited in the choice?

Tactile, 3 pin, with a clear housing?

It shouldn't limit to Akko switches, any 3 pin switches should fit surely? In that regard, what about Baby Kangeroo v2?

I use it as my space bar switch (I only have 1, left of the photo) and I use Nuphy Lemon yellow for the rest. The Lemon switches also have a clear top housing and allow RGB to come through but has a yellow bottom half.

Pretty sure you can just chop off the extra 2 pins (they're just plastic aren't they and just there for mounting stability?).

[pre-edit] Yes: https://drop.com/talk/137946/3-or-5-how-many-pins-does-your-switch-really-need

P.S. I'm using akko x TTC demons in my board which are 3 pin, I like them (although they're my first foray into the custom world!), but I think they're EOL now.
I won't link the akko page directly, as they sell direct, but it appears all the currently in stock models are 5 pin, except for the machas and crystals (linear) and TTC gold brown (tactile)

P.P.S. Some of them (demons/starlit/green fog/dracula/ V3 Piano etc.) are not clear but have a clear light guide piece - they work very well IMO (search for my posts/pics in the 'fell down the custom KB world' thread... or I can dig them out when I have a sec)

@hornetstinger - I spotted you picked up the Aula F75 in the Marketplace (not stalking, was going to grab it as well as the mic & interface). Didn't want to spam the chap's sale post, but wanted to add that it's a really nice board (especially for £35!).
I bought one for my Dad at Xmas time (Black, with Reaper switches) and really enjoyed the feel. I've now got the same Leobog Reaper switches on my Weikav Stars75-S and really happy with it.
Thanks for saving me from the impulse purchase!
