Hey guys,
My PC is upstairs ,as is my BT router. Due to the placement of phone socket the router needs to stay upstairs as well but as more than one cat5 cable is needed for downstairs now ,I have a query. At the moment a single cable runs from the router,through the wall and into my youview box downstairs but I would like to know if I can run that cable into a switch then run 3 or 4 cables from that into my tv/xbox/youview box do I misunderstand the whole switch thing?
