I am switching from Tesco BB to 02 BB. I called Tesco this evening and requested the MAC code which will be emailed to me within 5 days of request.
Q - Will Tesco BB remain active until 02 have activated their BB or could I potentially lose BB connection for a while?
Currently I use a Netgear DG834g Router for connection to BB. 02 will send their own wireless router in the post once i've ordered. I will use the 02 router as it comes pre-figured for use with 02.
Q - Now obviously i'll disconnect the Netgear from the PC but what do I do about the connection settings currently used for Tesco BB. Do I delete the settings from within the Router login or just delete the Router Login icon from the PC?
