Switching between inputs on Dell 2007wfp question?

lol i do same on my 2007wfp, i change to vga when i want to play 360 and dvi when i want to use my pc,
but thats why you pay all that extra money for this monitor, isnt it, so you can change video source when you need it,

I've got a Samsung SM 931c, which has both DVI & VGA inputs. Sorry for the newbie sounding question - but can I plug into both inputs (DVI for PC and VGA for the 360) and have both machines on at once?

If so, which will the monitor default to?

Many thanks

Just one more dumb question - do you know if I'll be getting the 360 to display an HD picture through the VGA on my LCD monitor. The resolution on the SM931c is maxed at 1280 x 1024.

Many thanks

I don't think it's really defined what HD means when applied to a games console, but anyway, I use my 360 at 1280*768 (above the basic HD movie resolution FWIW) on my 2007WFP and have the screen set to 'fill' which expands it vertically a mere 4% to fill the screen and looks great IMO.

How's that working out for you? I've read the blurb about it's '97 per cent CCFL colour reproduction' but not seen any decent reviews on this.

Did you pick it for any particular reason?
