Hi all,
Having solved the problem of what spec to build my living room gaming PC (hint: I went with running long HDMI + USB extenders from my gaming-PC-containing bedroom) I am now in a bit of a pickle as to how to /easily/ switch between gaming in room A and gaming in room B.
The setup is as follows:
Room A: 3x 23" 1080p monitors in an arranged, extended-desktop configuration (connected via DisplayPort + DVI + DVI)
Room B: 1x 55" Samsung TV (connected via HDMI)
The whole thing works brilliantly, except that in order to switch between the two profiles (monitors -> TV) there is a lot of messing around in the nVidia control panel (selecting and deselecting checkboxes), and vice-versa when it comes to resuming use of the monitors.
I believe that nView once had a feature that you could set up display configuration profiles and hot-toggle between them (AMD CCM still has this function I believe)
Does such a thing exist now for Windows 7, or are there any 3rd party apps to do it?
Thanks for reading
Dave
