This might sound dumb, but bare with me. I'm about to switch from my integrated Ryzen 5 2400g Vega 11 graphics to a GTX 1660. My question is, do I uninstall my current graphics drivers the same way as if I was already using a dedicated GPU? Or is there a different method for APUs?

As in, no, I don't uninstall my drivers in the same way? Or no, there is no difference for APUs?

install the 1660, boot into windows and download the correct and current drivers for that on the nvidia geforce experience software or whatever it is called.

Dont touch any intergrated graphics drivers for the CPU.

You can even switch between intergrated or dedicated graphics in the Nvidia control pannel.

Awesome, thanks. So it makes no difference in this case that I'm switching from AMD to Nvidia?
