Hi,

I have just ordered an 8800GTS to replace my X850XT. What is the best way to make sure all the ATI drivers are cleared from my system before installing the NVidia ones? I remember ATI used to do a cat uninstaller but I was unable to find it on their website when I just looked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Rich

I'm quite possibly going down the same route, so I can ask an ancillary question: I've heard lots of people complaining about the Nvidia CP, and problems with fan control etc ... is there an ideal set-up using extra applications to fill in any gaps?

I'm not really au fait with nTune, Riva Tuner, Powerstrip etc so I don't know which ones are recommended

cheers (and apologies if this is a thread hijack!)

Driver Cleaner Pro , uninstall your ATi drivers from Add/Remove then boot into safe-mode, run Driver Cleaner Pro and select ATi to get rid of left over traces, once done reboot as normal and cancel the new found hardware wizards, then install your new drivers for your new card.

@RostokMcSpoons, rivatuner has fan control, and theres nHancer that lets you do all your AA/AF settings etc as well if you dont want to use the control panel, you can get that here. :)
