is there anyway to do it with relatively little cost?

Not really mid contract more like 3 months into a 24 month contract, but Talk-Mobile on the vodaphone network is horrible, hardly ever get a reliable data connection unless its the OneX, but I'd like to change to 3 or O2, can my contract be bought out or something?

Ouch

Most will let you buy it out, I just did with O2, but you basically pay the full monthly price for the remainder of your deal, i only had about 6 left from an 18 month deal

O2 was poor for data for me and was a waste of the S2 that i had at the time
This is the reason i will NEVER sign a contract deal again and just take 1 month rolling sims, id rather buy the phone and be able to move network freely whenever I want to

If you commit to 24 months you have to be sure the signal is good in your area and those you visit/travel to often

so I just still pay 25 quid as I do now just on a diffo provider, so essentially costs nothing extra?f

No you'll have to pay £25 x 21 months = £525 to get out of your contract then you can go to whoever you want on whatever tariff you want

Orange gave me a small discount for unused minutes etc too. Still cost the lions share of the monthly payment to get out of though.

Nasty :/, hope you manage to get out of it with some kind of discount.

Personally I would rather saw my own balls off than sign a 24 month contract, you just cant plan your life that far ahead. Its scary that 18 and 24 month contracts are becoming "the norm".

If the data connection is bad enough you will be able to get out of contract as it's not fit for purpose. A friend of mine did the same thing with vodafail last year at no cost, but he had to fight tooth and nail.

Good luck.

Dunno how I'd fight against Talk Mobile and win I can't be bothered with a long drawn out campaign to get rid of the contract.
