Bit of a weird one.

So I’m with EE at present, no issues whatsoever with them over the near 2 years since I went back after being with Three.

I’m also with BT for my Broadband so with the contract up soon I’m wanting to reduce my bill if possible and move it onto my BT bill. So had a look on the BT website and seen that they do some exclusive EE SIM Only deals on there.

Do you think that when the time comes that if I rang BT up they would be possible to move my current EE contract onto a new EE one thats being promoted on their site?

Or would they look at it that as I’m a current EE customer that they couldn’t put me on one of these deals as they’d be for new customers only?

They transfer the SIM only accounts over to EE, I've just done this a few days ago, 2 of my BT SIMs were out of contact so I called retentions and they gave me a better deal then that shown on their website, but they needed to transfer my details and contracts over to EE, so they'll come off my BT bills now even though they are the same company they still run these independently.

I guess the difference here is that you were on BT Mobile and then got moved over to EE. I’m on EE now but would want one of these EE deals BT are promoting as “exclusive”. Would they just keep me on EE and just change my deal to one these deals or would I have to potentially request my PAC and then essentially re-sign up on one of these deals?

As far as I'm aware they give you new phone numbers, so you'll need to do the PAC dance :D

Maybe worth asking EE's retention dept for the same deal to stay?

Yeah probably worth a call just to see what the lay of the land is.

I know you’ve just moved over to EE but how was BT Mobile as a whole? Their own SIM deals are very good as well and have the extra perks given I’m a BT customer.

BT use the same infrastructure as EE, so no difference at all :)

Also the deal I got from BT to go to EE was far better than BT's listed deals and also better than EE's website as well :)
