Switching to Facebook tab slow in Firefox

Currently running FF 9.0.1 and when I click on the tab for Facebook I have open it takes a few seconds, I noticethat my CPU load jumps to about 25-30% during this time. It's done it for a few weeks now, I've recently done a full re-install due to getting an SSD, and that hasn't cured the problem either.

There's no facebook related add-ons installed, everything is up to date. Just wondering what could be causing it to hang?

Have you tried logging in to a different account?

get this sometimes, it's just facebooks agressive caching and json useage

This was one of the little issues which caused me to switch from Firefox to Chrome. I think it's a symptom of Firefox's poor memory management and UI responsiveness. No issue whatsoever in Chrome.

I have just installed Opera and there is no issue now. FF needs to sort itself out, bring back 3.6!
