I was wondering, since I have already pre paid for Fifa15 it says it unlocks on 26/9 but if I change my region to the USA. It says the 23rd.

I switched to check game prices (massive price gap) and I cannot buy anything as I dont have a US credit card.

Would it be an issue if I kept it on the USA region to play it early?

You don't need a US credit card to buy off the US store, UK cards work fine.

Not sure about the unlock time, if it's 23rd in USA then I presume it will unlock.

When I add billing address it goes crazy.

Im on USA now and it says 23rd. But if I switch to UK it says 26.. I just dont want a banned account/console tho

As far as I understand it, it will unlock according to the timezone in which you bought it - not the time zone in which your console is currently set - so in other words, if you buy it from the UK store, you may as well stay in the UK as it wont make a difference.

This happened to me, I bought Destiny from the US because it worked out to be nearly US$40 cheaper for me... but since I'm based in Australia, I then had to wait another 19 hours after midnight here (when it hit midnight in PDT) before the game would unlock. :(

I use my Australian credit card to buy the game from the US store, I just used some US university address (in a state with no sales tax). Not a problem. The game is tied to my account and I can download it from my region. The only difference I can tell is the unlock time. I'm going to get Forza Horizon from India next because that's even cheaper :D

So they address doesn't even need to match my bank details??

Which state is best. I've heard North Dakota is pretty cheap

Nope. Depends on your bank at the end of the day of course, but mine is HSBC and they don't give a toss :D They might for India though.

I'm not sure which state the Uni I used is in, it's mentioned a couple of times (or links to another website) in the Xbox One thread. You just want one with no sales tax... there are a couple. Just google it - it's a popular thread on another forum.

Mad Fruit - are you worried about getting banned or any problems from MS?

Reason I ask is that i'm currently temporarily disabled and can't get to a shop to buy Fifa, and it's ssoooooo cheap on the India store, but don't want to risk ~30,000 gamerscore for it!

The feature is there to make it easy for you to change your region should you move, not for you to flip between regions to get cheap games. I've not read the terms and conditions of Xbox Live but it's almost certainly not permitted.

But I don't think anyone's been banned for it yet so it's up to you if you want to take the risk.

Not really, they'd have to ban a lot of people if they did. There is a fairly thorough break down of the T&Cs on another forum, they're fairly non specific and MS could choose to interpret them negatively, or not.

What is more likely is that if they want to prevent people doing it any more they'll block it, it wouldn't be hard. I've already saved about AU$200, worth the risk imho. If they do ban my account, they'll lose a high value game buyer (90,000 gamescore all bought, no rentals) to Sony.

not sure if its the same for xbox downloads but on psn, the same game will have different product codes for different regions, which affects purchases and save games.

This is the thing, as an example i have bought cheap FIFA points from the india store.
Now they could look at this two ways , i have "cheated" them by buying cheaper points from India than in rip-off britain and they could be mad , or:

They could look at it how i looked at it as this is the truth, i made them a little more money than they would have got as i bought the points on the india store for £31 pounds for 12k points , i simply would not have bought any points AT ALL from the uk store when it is £75ish for 12k , i simply wouldn't have done it so they actually made money from me being able to access there , not losing money by me being able to access there.
