Hey Everyone :D

In July I crossed a very big bucket list item off the list! Which was to visit Switzerland, specifically Zermatt, and spend a week hiking & photographing everything.

So here is plan, I will share in this thread my favourite "photography" shots as hosted images, then I will provide a link to a web gallery which has a mixture of photography and holiday snaps :)

Without further ado...

And finally, the gallery link http://jacobellwood.co.uk/public/switzerland/

I hope you all enjoy them, I know I very much have :) - Either number 12 or 11 is going on a canvas and up in my apartment!

Think number 8 is my favourite of that lot.

Hoping to get there next year - here is hoping Brexit doesn't make for too much of a mess in that respect.

Nice captures.

Only 2.5hours drive form here but I haven't visited in some time, maybe this October once the main tourist rush has left as I am planning a long weekend with the wife.

For thos that want more Matterhorn porn then netflix has a short documentary called the Horn. following the AirZermatt mountain rescue

Get photos while you can because the permafrost is melting and the peak is at risk of collapsing over the next few years.

Also my ad blocker has blocked all of your photos Phate.

I got stuck hiking around the Matterhorn lakes when my wife and I missed the last cable car back down. We had to hike for 6 hours (after already hiking most of the day) to get down. I couldn't walk for a week.
