I hate to think how many hours of my childhood I wasted on SWOS on the Amiga. I can see the same thing happening again.

Achievements look alright, the It Is Now achievement is a good idea.

I used to use a magical little joystick called "The Bug". It was small iirc but was perfect for SWOS.

I used to use a 'zipstick', it was black with yellow fire buttons. Then it broke I had to learn to play again with a joy pad, was so frustrating, it was like learning from scratch! Is this out on the PC/Wii as well or will I have to find a way to afford a 360 as well!?

SWOS = best game ever, bar none.

So? Who's gonna start the official SWOS thread ?
According to Wiki, it's also coming out on Vista. That would be Windows Live, I presume.

It was also included in the top 10 most important video games of all time along with :-
Spacewar! (1962), Star Raiders (1979), Zork (1980), Tetris (1985), SimCity (1989), Super Mario Bros. 3 (1990), Civilization I/II (1991), Doom (1993), Warcraft series (beginning 1994) !!

Wonder what year its based on (for players, I mean) and if its still got that bug in it which means your players constantly go down in value regardless of how they play

Cant remember that? I always used to shove a youngster in my team just to raise his value. Players did decrease in value due to age though.
