Indeed. Sometimes nostalgia is best left in the past, having said that seeing as PES2008 was a disappointment and a lot of people still loathe FIFA 08 maybe this could be the surprise football game to eclipse others on 360? (It will be for a few days till people get bored anyway ;) ).

Its gonna be another stinker like the recently released on steam version of Speedball 2. Are they gonna have the teams as they were in...1995? god it seems like yesterday.
 
I can't find the image of the exact joystick I used to use, but its similar to this competition pro one but it had finger grips rather than a bell end :p

If they released a version of this for the 360 it'd be amazing :)

I'm not building my hopes up for SWOS for fear of nostalgia disappointment, but I'll no doubt get it :)
 
cruiser stick - thats what i had and the coloured one too!!

once when the stick broke, we ripped it out and jammed a screwdriver in... it worked - we played with a screwdriver... thats how much SWOS meant
 
I used all those sticks and they were great.

Its funny when you see them again, you just imagine they were good for gaming, but obviously were!

Its amazing what a joystick can do to a game, Virtua Fighter 5 I hadnt touched since the day i got it, i stuck it on yesterday to try out the hori fighting stick, i ended up playing it for close to 2 hours.

Maybe its a return to youth thing, but a good stick certainly makes a game more enjoyable.
