SWTOR keeps minimising to desktop

Seems to be at random, haven't tried any other games to be honest.

Using a 670, latest drivers, full virus sweep etc done. It's doing my head in. Anyway to force it to keep maximised?

I've closed all background apps I don't need and it still does it. Didn't do it around a week or so ago.

Hmm, i'm at work, but i'm quite curious as to whether this is a side effect of todays patch?
 
No it started last week if not before. It's really annoying, on my alt I tank on Kephess HM and it was doing it during the final phase which caused us to wipe a few times, so I'm really keen on fixing it.
 
Can you see if it does it on any other games & are you running windows 7 (64) as this started happening to me 2weeks ago on assassins creed & the witcher 2. Really Really annoying.

I am wanting to get this sorted for when borderlands 2 comes out and everything I try just does not sort it!

Also Windows 7 64 bit. I'll try on BF3 later in the week as it's the only other game I have installed right now.

It links to a problem that happened in February so may be the same one that got fixed.

Please try hitting [ALT]+[ENTER] when the game is active, this will toggle the screen mode and may fix the problem you are experiencing

I find it interesting that someone has the same issue with other games, using the same OS and started happening a couple of weeks ago.
 
I had the same problem a few months ago while playing Skyrim and Just Cause 2, also windows 7 64, for me the problem was caused by AdAware running in the background, i uninstalled it and never had the problem since.
 
I only use MSE. I do have a script running in a browser, I initially thought that may be it, but I've been running it for months and months and it's never caused an issue before.

Have you done the normal right click the shortcut properties-compatibility and disable all the desktop effects? Sometimes cures it for other people on other games I have seen on my travels around the interweb
