Sygate blocking network

Hi,

I installed Sygate firewall earlier to replace Comodo (was testing it...).

I allowed the windows services that it said to allow to make the network work but my PC still couldn't get an IP for the network.

I even tried setting Sygate to allow all and it still didn't work.

Any ideas how I can sort it please?

Thanks,
Craig.

double click the SPF icon in the system tray and click tools and then options
and this window will come up

make sure you have the correct network adapter selected and check both of the tick boxes.

and all should be good.

i think you need to make sure the "NT Kernal", "LSA Shell" and "Generic Host" are all set to allow aswell to be able to get a DHCP ip address.

Hmm, I've done all that and it still didn't work :(

I will try again though.

Thanks,
Craig.

Is this for wireless or wired network? if its a wired network just assign yourself an ip within the same range as your last one.
