Hi All,

So who likes the films he plays in, and also what did you think to the new Rocky Balboa Film? I havent seen it as of yet, i've just seen the new Rambo film and absolutely loved it i watched all the featurettes some serious work and effort was put behind this film, and i think it showed.

Theres supposed to be a 5th film in the pipeline? Sly is getting on abit now hes 62/63? thats some age still think hes got what it takes to pull it off?

I like his attitude to being a director think it makes the film a whole lot better with him behind the work.

Wasn't a fan of any of the Rocky films and I've never seen Rambo. He's obviously a talented guy but none of his films stick out as being particularly groundbreaking or even regarded as 'excellent'. Some of his 'okay' films that spring to mind would be Demolition man and Cash and Tango.

Hes an ok actor and entertaining loved the rambos, rocky was ok at the time and the last one ended it all pretty well, demolition man ("wow thats a rat burger!" ) and daylight seemed to be his best stuff imo

Cop Land is my favourite film of his!

For me its his best performance!

Scrolling down,I was just going to post this:

If you want to see Stallone really act, then watch Copland.

In Copland, you've got Robert De Niro and Harvey Keitel tring to out-act Stallone, but Sly really pulls it off.

What i like about him is that he doesnt take himself too seriously. Hes very grounded, and his latest efforts Rambo 4 and Rock Balboa have been brilliant.

I really like the bloke. And i really enjoyed his performances. And yes... he is brilliant in copland

Unlike Arnie and Jean Claude I can still watch a lot of Sly's films and still enjoy them today, the likes of Cliffhanger, Demolition Man and even the likes of Assassins, The Specialist, Daylight and Judge Dredd I still find thoroughly entertaining. Also didnt think D-Tox was bad either :o

Haven't seen Rambo 4 yet, might actually go and pick it up tomorrow thinking about it...
