Sylvester Stallone.

I like allot of his films and rambo 4 and rocky 6 where fantastic. I didnt think get carter was to bad either, Copland was amazing.

Arnie films rock tho. commando baby lol
 
Copland is indeed probably his best film although it is difficult to compare to the bathos of "Aaaadrian". Most of his films are cheesy and easy going but none the worse for that, Copland would be the one where he shows he can actually act well.

Spot on, anyone who says he cannot act prob hasn't seen Copland, in terms of his performance its his finest hour by a country mile, great movie
 
I haven't seen Rambo 4 or the latest Rocky film so I can't comment on his latest work, but I've always liked him, and his films. They're not great art, but most are watchable and usually entertaining. As long as he's punching Mr T, warning people not to push him or even claiming that 'he is the law', then he's fine by me.

But no comedy films please. I hate it when bloodthirsty action heroes go all family friendly. :(
 
i thought i enjoyed judge dredd but i watched it the other day it was awful, however i love rocky films, rambo films and my favourite of his demolition man, havent seen copland yet but i will go out of my way to watch it.

the new rocky and rambo films were both really good imo.
 
Rambo First Blood remains a classic film one you can go back to it's just a great film imo mainly thanks to Brian Dennehy such an underrated actor.
 
rambo 4 is good.rambo one just for the one liners :p copland is very good.i used to like cobra :D your the disease , im the cure ......classic :p
 
Some of Stallone's films have been truly excellent, Copland especially has been mentioned.

However, I can't believe the number of people saying they don't rate the Rocky movies, the first one is one of the best pictures ever made, winning three Oscars in 1977 and being nominated for seven more, including best Leading Actor and Best Writing for Stallone (only Chaplin for The Great Dictator and Welles for Citizen Kane have done the same).

It's a truly great film in my opinion.

I definitely agree, the first Rocky film is one of my favorite films, very very good. I also think the soundtrack for the first one is excellent and fits well with each scene, a lot better than the pop music in Rocky IV. 'Philadelphia Morning' is one that springs to mind.
 
He's made money than anybody here will ever see by some considerable margin, so regardless of the qualities of his films, he is better than all of us, possibly combined.

I like a good deal of his films, Rocky, first blood, Copland, judge dread, Demolition man and cliff hanger.

But he's made a lot of rubbish as well-
Everything else.
But good luck to him and his mountains of cash, because he is a nice guy.
