Symantec Backup Exec 10d Email Server Protection Suite [£580.00 or £20/month1]

The two i've been advised to get are:
Symantec Backup Exec 10d Open File and Application Protection Add-On Pack [£680.00 or £23/month1]

Symantec Backup Exec 10d Lan Server and Workgroup Protection Add-On Pack [£160.00 or £6/month1]

But honestly, i don't know what all the others do and can't find info on them. I want to backup data from a server to tapes! What do the two above do? Thanks.

I would just get Symantec Backup Exec 10d for Windows Servers then, which isn't listed.

Completely agree, I installed it at a clients site and the only extras we use are.

SQL license, AOFO and SSO (clustered). Other than that it's as above.

On the other cluster it's got an exchange license
