Symantec Endpoint Mr5 not updating clients

hey guys,

As a Symantec distributor they gave us a copy SEP to use internally.

We have two sites, one default management server (remote to me) and one replication server (at my site).

All clients have mr5 installed on the them, either 32 or 64 bit and we have a total near 200 computers (at my site).

30 of them seem to be working correctly and have the latest defs installed but the rest seem to be stuck on 9.6.2010 and no matter what i do I can't get them to update.

I've checked the policy numbers to make sure they're using the correct site policy and I've even pulled a sylink.xml file from a working machine and copied it out to a few not working one's but nothing is making any difference.

Any ideas??

I'm stumped. :(
 
think i might have it sorted.

the live update policy was using port 2967 where as the website was using port 8014.

changed the policy and a couple of clients have updated. I'll monitor it for the rest of the day see how we goes :)
 
Most of my clients seem to be working now. I have about 20 that are still stuck on old defs. Some of these machines that are stuck on old defs have the green dot on their PC icon and some don't.

I've been round and updated the sylink on them all but these last few are being a pain.

Can I simply uninstall the client from the machine, delete the account from my client list on the server and push it back out again to fix this issue??
