Sync a Excel file between laptop & iphone (need to edit on both)

Hi is the above possible.

I have a folder on my laptop with some excel files in it,

eg: Folder called OCUK reports, then some excel files inside it, eg: report 13

I want to be able to have that file available on my iphone & laptop and I need to be able to edit it on either and then see the changes on either.

I have dropbox / icloud, but for the life of trying i cannot get it to work

any help would be very helful

iCloud Drive should do this perfectly - the folder should display by default in Finder.

Don’t have finder. As using win 7.

Sorted it,

Put the master excel copy in a folder within dropbox and then a shortcut to the folder that i used to have it in.

Now works fine across all devices. (checked by doing edits on each deviceI

Although had to download excel for my iphone as 'numbers' wouldnt open it for some reason, thought numbers was apples equivalent of excel?
