sync between pc and laptop

hi, basicly i got my music on main pc and copied whole folder onto my laptop(nc10), but as and when im ripping my cd collection to my pc i want to be able to sync to laptop and copy across the new folders/albums without transfering all the other folders already there.
ive got over 90gb so dont want to be copying whole lot everytime.

any suggestions?

Can you not just share the HDD its all stored on and access it through *assuming you have one* network?

I used to do this myself. Used SyncToy 2.0 from MS. Found it quite good actually!

i do have shared network but its annoying and time consuming transfering each folder 1 at a time and half the time i cant remember which i transfered as i could leave it for a few days tilthe next time i come to do it!!!

might try synctoy 2.0

I find Robocopy a lot better, but Synctoy is still worth a go.

well thats done just the job

copied and sync'd over the network, save me so much time.
now to go thro and get rid of duplicate folders!! get rid of underscores/dashes etc and neaten up them folders

Have you tried Microsoft Live Sync, its free and works like synctoy, but real time and over the internet. I use it to sync files from my work laptop to my main pc. its works flawlessly.
