Sync Error when watching CoH replays.

I like watching Company of Heroes replays that I download from gamereplays.org so that I can pick up tactics from experienced players. Some of these replays will freeze and give me an error saying something like 'Sync Error Detected', it will freeze in the exact same place every time so it isn't a random freeze.

Does anyone have any idea whats going on and how I can go about stopping this from happening?

iirc if the save is from either a)the demo b) diff patched game version it doesnt work

That was my first thought but on gamereplays it tells you what patch the game was recorded on and I made sure I downloaded patch 1.5 files only because thats what version I am running.
