Is there an easy idiot proof piece of software that can preserve my sanity for the following - sync between NAS and Mac HD?

Issue - no matter how many times I mention this to the wife it falls on deaf ears. She has her own folders on the Mac for working on Word docs etc. Exactly the same folders exists on the NAS. The wife prefers saving stuff to the Mac's HD rather than the NAS as she can't be bothered with passwords etc. When she works on docs on the Laptop via the NAS toys get thrown out of the proverbial pram when the updated doc doesn't then appear on the Mac HD folder.

I have tried to explain that the updated doc is there on the NAS if she wants to work on it. Well you know women, that's not good enough. She wants the updated file from the Laptop to seamlessly go back to the NAS and from there to the Mac's HD without any user input.

Can anyone recommend the right tool for this particular job - free if possible but if not then so be it.

Goodsync. Was using it on Windows and now on my Mac. Been using it for years now. Does exactly what you want.

Thanks for the info. Downloaded the prog without issue though usage is more problematic. I have made minor amendments to word docs and although the programme indicates sync has taken place, when I check the files the changes to the docs has not transferred across? Maybe I'm not doing something right?

I am now having some success with Goodsync. I think the issue with this prog is the myriad of options, perhaps to many, leaving the user totally confused as to which settings to use.
