I have just got a laptop which I plan to take away and want to sync the outlook calendar, contacts, email etc from my main machine onto the laptop - any ideas how I do that?
copy the PST file over to your new machine. It will only old the info that you currently have though and wont sync if you make changes to either machine. OK if you are really just taking it away to read and not to change.
I use a site called plaxo.com which Syncs tasks, calender, contacts and notes but no email. Depends how you feel about sending the data to their server.. but hey, its free!
