Sync Speed for Line Attenuation

Hmm, I don't get why you're not on Fastpath. Raise a ticket and request it. Seems your option is broken for some reason.

You're on Be* 24mb aren't you? Gotta be if you're getting 9mb.

I'll do a ticket :) Yep Be* Unlimited 24meg.

Here's the rest of that screen if it's any help at all, guess it won't be:

Hmm, raise a ticket, should give you an extra 1-2mb download.

I don't get that "Estimated download speed" on my member page! Wierd! o.O

Don't know why people are suggesting fastpath. If the line isn't stable at 6dB profile without fastpath, it's going to be more unstable with it enabled. Surely it's better to leave it at 6dB without fastpath, monitor the line over a few days and then if the line is nice and stable give fastpath a shot.

He can have fastpath at a 9db profile. If he games, it's worth it.

You can have fastpath at any snr profile and GeForce is now on the 6dB profile, a change which ought to be monitored before making other changes. Yes, another option would be to stay at 9dB and turn on fastpath. Lots of people seem to rush in and choose the fastest settings then get disappointed when they find the line unstable, hence why i am suggesting one step at a time.

Meh, when I got connected, I went for fastpath straight away. I have about 1-2 disconnects a week due to weather changes.

Guess I'm a lucky one.

Yeah, you probably have a decent line and are prepared for a few disconnects. Some people with short lines can go straight to 3dB with fastpath and have zero disconnections, lucky gits!! I just happen to have an identical downstream attenuation to GeForce and although line conditions will be different, i get a couple of disconnects a week on 6dB but a lot more with fastpath enabled.

I must admit, Im on BE value on a 6dB interleave profile (done via ticket), ping times are a consistent 21ms which is very good really.

Still too slow. Also, loss of framing errors are serious. You should not be getting any ideally, 1 or 2 at worst. There is a problem with your connection, either your end or their end.

Loss of framing/signal can probably be attributed to changing profile and having ADSL sync kicked away to pick that up.
