Synching iPod with Lastfm?

Tried iScrobbler and keep getting errors when hitting 'update ipod'
Is there a step by step guide out there on how to do this?
Or any other application that is better at what I want?

If it helps, I have my iPod on manual mode

No, it should scrobble any music that has been played on your iPod

Nope, no joy, just unplugged my ipod listened to a track, opened Lastfm, plugged iPod back in and nothing happened.

I had major problems, could never get my nano to scrobble, even after much reading of their forums...
