Synchromising webmail with Windows 7 Mail

So I've got a new pc and installed Windows 7 and installed Windows Mail (looks horrible!)

I've set up my account and it all works, but Windows Mail only downloaded the most recent emails (the ones that weren't downloaded onto my old pc - i.e. those between pcs)

Is there a way I can syncronise the Windows Mail with my webmail (Blueyonder) so I can see ALL emails in my Windows Mail inbox/outbox? There are important holiday booking confirmations etc in there.

Thanks

Firstly I don't have the software installed so I can't tell you where the option is. But there is an option to download all mail. Your current selection in Live Mail will be to download new mail only.

Sorry for being vague - just at work so I don't have it to hand.

Hi guys, just looking through Windows Mail now but can't find the option mentioned above. Any clues?

EDIT - I read a guide on setting my email address up as IMAP, but I don't really understand what it is or why? My email works, so I don't really want to dick about with it. Just want to download all my historic emails off the server.

EDIT2 - I checked and IMAP is already enabled on the webmail side.

You'll need to set it up as a new account at which point windows mail will ask whether the server is an IMAP or POP3, select IMAP and enter the correct details and it'll synchronise all your mail at all times.
