Hey folks,

Trying to sync files from a laptop to a server;

say for example the user is called 'Joe'

Joe's laptop > My documents

Server (lets say it was) 191.191.21.21/Joe

I right clicked and changed the path of the my documents folder on the desktop from C:\documents etc, to 191.191.21.21\Joe

I then enabled offline files etc, and the my documents has the arrows on it to show it is synced files...
Inside the folder *most* of the files have those arrows on them as well, some dont for some reason!

However, this is the problem;

When navigating to c:\documentsandsettings\Joe\mydocuments there is only 10 files in there! There should be loads more!

Obviously on the desktop the shortcut points to the server folder so they are there OK.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance

So do you mean, to not use that documents and settings folder anymore?

If he is disconnected from the network, the files will show up, and when he reconnects they will sync and update with the network files in my documents on the server?

In otherwords, have I done it right lol!

PS > It is taking AGES to sync! lol
