Synchronising

I don't know if this is the right place but here we go if I go to the menu's settings sycn Your settings sycn button it won't turn on I am using windows 10 I have done a search but nothing there any help would be gratefully received

Are you signed in to a Microsoft account?

I am using windows edge I have a Hotmail account and office 365

65-year-old numpty and have only recently purchased this laptop

Under Settings -> Accounts -> Your info, does it say your hotmail email there? An example of mine just in case you need help:

I have managed to get the synchronise on now all I need to get sorted is synchronise with my android Samsung Galaxy seven thanks very much for your help if I get stuck I'll be back
