Basically what I want to do it sync a folder within my Documents folder with my iDisk so I can access this info from anywhere on my iPhone using the iDisk app. The easiest thing I can think of is just keeping this folder in the local iDisk on my desktop, but I'd rather keep it in Documents where it has always been. I'd like to be able to edit/delete or whatever a file in the folder on my Mac and that be automatically synced with the iDisk.

I guess the best way would be to use a script?

Ok now Transmit syncs with the iDisk, how do I get it to do it automatically every day?

Would Automator be of any use? Not played with it myself, but it sounds like it should do what you want to do.

I'll have a play myself to see if it'll work.

As an alternative, how about Dropbox? Install it, create a symbolic link to the folder you want and then put that link into dropbox and forget about it because all files will sync automatically.

You can then access the contents of the folder on your iPhone using the dropbox app.

Have got an Automator app set up that runs once a week, using Transmit actually makes the iDisk usable, it's fast.

Dropbox looks good too though, will look into that, thanks guys.

You can also set your iDisk to sync with your Mac in your MobileMe preferences - it makes a local copy on your Mac and you can set it to sync manually and automatically. Works nice, I switched it on a couple of days ago.
