Hi there,

I'm having an issue with syncing a specific file/folder on cloud.

I use Skype and I would like my chat history to be saved so in case my PC breaks down I have the chats saved somewhere I can recover on a new PC for example. However Skype doen't have a cloud storage and your chats are saved on your hard drive in :\Users\AppData\Roaming\Skype folder as a .db file.:(

Now I do understand that there are cloud storage services such as Dropbox, OneDrive, etc. but with these apps you can only share files which are transferred into the app's specific folder, not any folder on your PC.

Is there a way to do this?

Using Windows 10 Anniversary Update Pro x64.

Thanks in advance.

Your Skype history is online already. Log in to https://web.skype.com/en/ and have a look :)

Do it in two steps?

Use a local sync programme (e.g. FreeFileSync) to sync :\Users\AppData\Roaming\Skype folder with the local Dropbox, Onedrive or whatever folder. It will then automatically be reflected in the cloud folder.
