Syncing iPhone on fresh iTunes installation

Ive recently reinstalled windows and have then reinstalled iTunes. The music is on a seperate partition and so ive pointed iTunes to the correct folder and its imported all my music once again into my library. Fine.

However, in my last installation of iTunes I had created a playlist named iPhone and put all my music that I wanted for my iPhone into it. Then id sync the iphone with that playlist and that would allow me to control what music goes onto my iphone and not my whole library (which is far too big). However the playlist is no longer there and if I now sync the Iphone with the new installation of iTunes it will delete my songs on the iPhone.

Any way round this?



edit - sorry this would probably been better in the software section but cant move it now...

can find a few different ones from over the years but not the one i want with the iphone playlist in. must have been in user/music folder in the old.windows folder that ive just cleaned off my hard drive.

Any other way of importing the songs on my iphone to make a playlist in my new itunes installation?
 
Looks like you'll have to do it manually.

And remember to back up the iTunes folder next time :)
