Currently i have outlook set up in the office using a few mailboxes, at the moment when i'm at home i use a remote desktop to access the works outlook.

However this is very slow, and just plain annoying. I was just wondering if there was a way to sync both outlooks so they could be accessed from either pc (home or office)

Currently using XP (some software / drivers i use doesn't like vista / 7)

Thanks in advance

If your mail server supports IMAP use that, it basically works by leaving all emails on the server and so each client is always in sync with each other because there is no local storage of emails. So for example if you read or reply to an email on your work machine your home machine will also show this email as read and the reply will already be in your sent items folder.

Be careful with that though - IIRC, sent items by default go into the default "personal folders" PST file and not an IMAP folder, unless you specifically configure it to in the options.

Setup a Google Calendar, and download/install Google Calendar Sync for Outlook, set it up two way and update interval every 1 hour, job's a good an. Any change or new appts in one calendar will be sync'd up to Google, then down to your other PC
