OK, when I upgraded a while back I bought an MSI motherboard with RGB lighting via its "Mystic Light" platform. I thought at the time that all RGB setups would work together. My Steelseries mouse isn't compatible with this unfortunately.

I am currently looking for a new keyboard and I was wondering how hard is it to get the RGB on this to sync with my motherboard? I have seen a couple of third party apps which sync some RGB platforms together.

Corsair I believe . Might want to double check though ?

Generally you cannot set it all the same using one software. You will have to use the MSI Mystic Light for the fans and RGB strips but the mouse and keyboard will have to use their own software (I'd recommend steelseries for this as their software for controlling RGB lights is amazing!)

Most RGB kit from the big names will have logos all over the product page, telling you whether it's compatible with MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte Fusion, Ausu Aura, Corsair iCUE, and all that... Just do your research before you buy.
